Wood Christmas Shadow Box

I'm closing out this month's wood theme at Unruly Paper Arts with this design team project --- an altered shadow box house.

I grew up in the 1950s.  This house is full of those holiday memories.  If you'd like to read about them in my column, please visit Unruly Paper Arts HERE.

Supplies:
Bright Red acrylic paint
Crackle paint
Pewter distress stain
Digital images from Gecko Galz and Retro Cafe Art
Papers from Scrap Cake and Graphic 45
Girl in circle, wood sled, plastic deer,  from Red Lead Paperworks
Other embellishments, including synthetic snow, from Hobby Lobby
Tim Holtz idea-ology fractured doll
Strand of tiny lights from my blogging buddy, Terry

Entering this altered wood house in this challenge:

The Craft Room Challenge:  Use Something Wooden (my second entry this month)

What a wonderful Christmas project, Helene - full of nostalgic images and the fun and colour of Christmases past (we're all a bit too elegant and alternative in our colours sometimes these days!)... lovely!
